Yes, I know, this site is pratically dead. But I'm not letting it go yet. Desert never comes online, and is therefore no longer an administrator. The staff ranks have been modified, and auditions are open fior several ranks including leaders. As soon as the majority of the high ranks are taken I'll start auditioning plot characters. If you join now, you have a very good chance of getting more than one high-rank character.

An Introduction
Forget Secrets of the Clans. Forget the elder’s tales.
Forget everything you thought you knew.
Thousands of years before kittypet Rusty set a paw into the forest, the land was ruled by different cats. They might have been named after the ancient clans, but they had significantly changed. Their size had dramatically decreased, and they had begun to lose the features that distinguished their clans so well. They are changing. Changing into everything we know now.
In those days, there were no roads, no houses, no two-legs. There was no hurdle to cross; no danger to watch. But there was also a far greater change. If you look up to the sky tonight, you’ll see a band of stars draped across the sky. It’s called Silverpelt; but you couldn’t see it back then. Instead many lone spirits were scattered across the horizon, slowly banding together… That will one day unite, and become the fifth clan of the forest.

Lionclan
The Lionclan Camp Amongst the bushes and bracken, towards the north of Lionclan territory lies the Lionclan camp. It is a large clearing protected by thick walls of sticks and shrubbery. The camp itself is nestled in a small “valley” with a smooth slope at the entrance. Around the edges of the camp are many dens, built up the give protection to cats of all ages. The Open Moor This moor takes up almost two thirds of Lionclan’s land. It is very open, with few places to hide. You require speed to catch prey here, as the rabbits are very fast runners. There’s often a slow breeze here, gently blowing towards Highstones. If there’s another cat on the moor, you’ll be able to see them long before you scent them. The vegetation is limited, with short, brown-ish grass and a few clumps of bracken here and there. This is often referred to as the Southern Moor. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~, .:Krayons:
Secluded Spots Where the warriors of Lionclan hunt, relax, drink, and train their apprentices. Here lie the thick, scraggly bushes of the north moor, the four small trees used for fighting practice, the grass and stones north of the river, and the bare, rocky landscape of Highstones. Tigerclan
The Tigerclan Camp Surrounded by thick woods and a river, the Tigerclan camp is nestled next to the forest. The warriors den is situated on top of a small hill or slope where the warriors of Tigerclan can stand guard. The nursery and supplies den are flanked protectively by the warrior and apprentice dens. Calling Pool is in the centre of the camp where cats gather for meetings. The camp entrance is located south-east of Calling Pool. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~

The River The River is the source of water for Tigerclan. It is also provides a lot of prey. It contains many fish and water voles like to live around there. The River is east of Tigerclan camp and runs through the entire territory. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~
Forests & Falls Tigerclan’s territory is made up of many different types of forests. The Rain forest surrounds the camp while Spirit forest is located on the other side of the River. North of the camp is the Falls, where Tigerclan warriors relax in front of the large waterfall. Moderators: [Silvermask~, D.esert, .:Krayons:

Leopardclan
The Leopardclan Camp The Leopardclan camp is located near the bottom corner of their territory, in the thickest part of the forest. A narrow entrance that fits about two cats side-by-side opens up into the main clearing. The warrior, apprentice and elder’s den have been built out of sticks and shrubbery. The nursery started out as a wall of brambles that was then shaped into a den. A granite wall of rock on one side of the clearing can be climbed using tiny foot-holes. It is called leader’s rock as it is used to call the clan together. A small opening on its side reveals the small den where the leader sleeps. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~, >Jaggededge

Familar Areas Leopardclan warriors hunt in the lush green trees of their territory. All their land is made up of forest, of which the majority is thick. A stream cuts straight across from Tigerclan and flows through the trees all the way the Pantherclan. Moderators: [Silvermask~, >Jaggededge

Pantherclan
The Pantherclan Camp The Pantherclan camp is well hidden amongst the thickest part of the Boggy Forest. Those who do not know where it is could easily get lost and never find it. The whole camp is surrounded by thick vegetation that not only keeps out attackers but provides it with the perfect camouflage. The single fern-covered entrance opens out onto the clearing were the clan gathers. Around it are the dens. Most are made from twigs and shrubbery, although some have been reinforced with soil. The Boggy Forest The Boggy forest makes up the bulk of Pantherclan territory. At first the trees are as thick as any forest, with marshy soil and a lot of rainfall. The driest part, closer to the moor, holds the Pantherclan camp. A lot of small prey lives here, from mice to chaffinches, making it a good hunting spot for apprentices and warriors alike. Then the trees begin to thin out, eventually giving way to a tree-less marsh. Moderators: [Silvermask~, .:Krayons:, D.esert

Wet Lands Pantherclan's territory is known to be wet and moist. From under the trees to below the bare sky; the ground is still damp. The apprentices train in a sheltered clearing, warriors hunt by the shady stream bed and some dare to venture onto the swampy marshes. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~
Loner's Lands The unclaimed territory out side the clan’s area is rarely visited. Warriors never bother to step into these lands, so they are unknown and uncharted. West of Tigerclan is a never-ending flat plain of dry grass. An impenetrable swamp lies beyond Pantherclan that even they don’t want as their own. North of Lionclan is the harsh rocks and boulders that can scrape paws more painfully than talons, with mountains seen on the horizon. The only out-of-clan place that a cat would want to go is south. The forests of Leopardclan and Tigerclan seem to go on for miles, further than they wish to patrol. Moderators: D.esert, [Silvermask~

Meeting Place This is where the 4 clans’ territory comes together. A small area, about 50 square tail-lengths, belongs to all the cats of the forest; however, it is rarely used by normal warriors. Leaders meet here in peace once a moon to discuss the happenings in their clan. They usually come alone, although sometimes they bring their kin or a senior warrior. Moderators: [Silvermask~, D.esert
